QuickTime and Darwin Streaming Server can be configured to reflect live streams from Shoutcast compatible webcasting software. A password must be configured to accept and reflect webcasts from remote sources.
Setting up the server to accept incoming mp3 webcasts from the web administrative interface is accomplished by logging into web admin (http://<server addres>:1220). When connected, click on the General Settings link on the left of the window:

Then click on "Change MP3 Broadcast Password..." and enter the new password in the window that appears. Make sure to Save your Changes when complete.

On QuickTime Streaming Server, the MP3 Password can also be changed from the Server Admin application. Once you are connected to the server, click on QuickTime Streaming in the Computers & Services pane, then the Settings tab at the bottom of the window, and Access tab near the top. From set the MP3 Broadcast password in this window:
